Dedicated developers from Lahore
Hire Mobile App Developers from Pakistan, Vetted and Interviewed by You
When you hire mobile app developers through us, you get engineers who work only on your product, inside your repository, your Slack and your sprint board. You read the CVs, you run the technical interview, and nobody is billed as a permanent hire until a two-week trial has shown you real commits.
We are based in Lahore and place iOS, Android, Flutter and React Native developers with product teams in the USA, UK, UAE, Europe and Australia. Below: roles, hiring steps, vetting, and where offshore hiring goes wrong.
- You interview every candidate
- Two-week trial before you commit
- Code in your repo from day one
- NDA signed before you share anything
Which developers can you hire?
Hire for the work already in your backlog, not the team you imagine needing in a year.
iOS developers
Swift and SwiftUI engineers who still handle UIKit, TestFlight and App Review. Need language depth for a Swift 6 migration? Hire Swift developers directly.
Android developers
Kotlin and Jetpack Compose developers who handle Play Console releases and target API deadlines. For Kotlin Multiplatform or backend Kotlin work, hire Kotlin developers.
Flutter developers
Dart engineers for one iOS and Android codebase, using Riverpod or Bloc and platform channels.
React Native developers
TypeScript developers on the New Architecture with Expo and EAS, able to write native modules.
Backend, UI/UX and QA
Backend developers for your APIs, UI/UX designers working in Figma (see our mobile app UI/UX design work) and QA engineers testing on real devices (see hire mobile QA engineers).
A dedicated team
A small pod of mobile, backend, QA and a project manager that owns a product area end to end. See how to hire a dedicated app development team.
How hiring works, from brief to first commit
Five steps, and you hold the decision at every one of them.
You send a brief
Stack, seniority, hours and what the first month of work looks like. We sign your NDA before you share code or roadmap.
We send a shortlist of CVs
A few matched profiles, each with our interview notes and the gaps against your stack. Two good fits beat eight maybes.
You run the technical interview
Use your own questions, live coding or a pull request review. Our role pages, such as hire Android developers, include sample questions.
Two-week trial on real work
The developer works real tickets in your tools. Then you continue, ask for a replacement or walk away.
Onboarding and steady state
A written onboarding plan, a named project manager on our side and regular check-ins on velocity and quality.
How we vet developers before you see a CV
Our screening removes the obvious mismatches so your interview time goes on judgement calls. Every shortlisted developer has been through:
- A platform deep-dive: memory and lifecycle on iOS, coroutine scopes on Android, state and rebuilds in Flutter or React Native
- A task against a real API, reviewed for structure, error handling and tests, not only whether it runs
- A code review of someone else’s pull request, which shows judgement better than fresh code
- Release experience: TestFlight, Play Console internal testing, signing, crash triage in Crashlytics or Sentry
- Git hygiene: small commits, readable pull requests, rebasing without drama
- Written English in a short async update, since most of your communication with an offshore developer will be written
- Reference checks where the candidate can share them
Working hours overlap by region
Pakistan Standard Time is UTC+5 with no daylight saving, so the overlap shifts only when your clocks change.
| Your region | Time difference from Lahore | Practical overlap |
|---|---|---|
| UAE / Gulf (UTC+4) | Lahore is 1 hour ahead | Near-full working day |
| UK | 4 hours behind (BST) / 5 hours behind (GMT) | Your morning is our afternoon: strong daily overlap |
| Central Europe | 3 to 4 hours behind | Most of your morning and early afternoon |
| US Eastern | 9 hours behind (EDT) / 10 hours (EST) | A 2 to 4 hour window via an evening shift in Lahore, plus async handoff |
| Australia (Sydney) | 5 to 6 hours ahead | Our morning is your afternoon |
If you need someone online for your full US business day with no async work, offshore hiring is the wrong model for you. Hire locally. Otherwise, our guide to working with Pakistan developers in the US time zone covers the workflow.
Dedicated developer vs staff augmentation vs project
These three are often blurred in sales calls. The difference is who directs the work and who carries delivery risk.
| Dedicated developer or team | Staff augmentation | Project (fixed price) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who directs daily work | You, with our PM supporting | You, fully inside your team | Our PM against an agreed scope |
| Who carries delivery risk | Shared | Mostly you | Mostly us |
| Scope flexibility | High | High | Low; changes go through change requests |
| Your time commitment | Moderate: backlog, reviews, ceremonies | High: you manage them like employees | Low: sprint demos and approvals |
| Best for | Ongoing product work | Filling a gap in an existing team | A clearly specified build |
Rates depend on seniority, stack and engagement length. Request a quote and we will price your exact brief.
Why hire mobile app developers from Pakistan at all?
Cost is the obvious reason. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics puts the median annual wage for US software developers at $135,980 (May 2025), before benefits, payroll tax, equipment and recruiting. For vendor rate bands by country, see app developer hourly rates by country.
The industry has depth behind it. Pakistan’s IT and ITeS exports reached a record $4.6 billion in FY2026, up 21% year on year, according to State Bank of Pakistan figures reported in July 2026. That means more engineers who have worked with foreign product teams.
We cover the wider case, including when it is a poor fit, on the page about how to outsource app development to Pakistan.
See developer profiles before you decide anything
Send us your stack, seniority and hours. We reply with matched developer profiles and our interview notes, and you choose who to interview.
What is included when you hire through us
A named project manager on our side handles attendance, leave cover and performance conversations, so they never land on your desk.
If a developer leaves, we source a replacement and run a handover. Developers use company hardware, test devices and backup power, so a power cut in Lahore is our problem, not yours.
On ownership, the rules are simple: your code lives in your repository, your designs in your Figma, and your apps in your App Store Connect and Play Console accounts. Read the details on our NDA and IP protection page.
Included as standard
- Dedicated project manager on our side
- Replacement and handover if a developer leaves
- Laptop, test devices, backup power and internet
- IP assignment to you; code in your repo
- NDA signed before discovery
What you manage vs what we manage
Clear lines prevent the most common friction in offshore teams: two people each assuming the other one is handling it.
| You manage | We manage |
|---|---|
| Product priorities and the backlog | Hiring, payroll, contracts and local compliance |
| Acceptance criteria and code review standards | Attendance, leave planning and cover |
| Architecture decisions (or delegate them to a senior) | Hardware, devices, connectivity and workspace |
| Sprint ceremonies and release decisions | Performance coaching and replacements |
| Access to your tools and accounts | Weekly check-in on velocity, quality and blockers |
Red flags when hiring offshore developers
Whoever you hire from, walk away if you see these:
- You are not allowed to interview the developer directly, or the person on the call is not the person who will do the work
- Code is kept in the vendor’s repository and “transferred at the end”
- No trial period, or a trial that is billed at full rate with no exit
- Profiles that list every framework ever released with no shipped apps to show
- Vague answers on who covers leave, sickness or resignation
- The vendor wants to own your App Store or Play Console account
- Updates are always green and you never see a pull request
Before you hire: three checks
First, a dedicated engineer without a groomed backlog burns budget. If your scope is still fuzzy, a fixed-scope MVP app development project may suit you better.
Second, decide whether you want a developer or a delivery outcome. If you want someone else to own the outcome, read dedicated team vs fixed price and compare our app development engagement models before choosing. Third, check that someone on your side can review code. If nobody can, hire a senior or add a tech lead from our side.
Still weighing up the alternatives? Our comparison of in-house vs outsourced app development lays out the costs and trade-offs.
Questions about hiring mobile app developers
How much does it cost to hire mobile app developers from Pakistan?
Rates depend on seniority, stack, hours and engagement length, so we quote each brief in writing rather than publish a rate card. As market context, 13 of the 16 Pakistani firms with a stated rate on page one of Clutch’s directory (checked October 2026) list $25 to $49 an hour; that is market data, not our price. Send your requirements and we return a written quote with profiles.
Can I interview the developers myself?
Yes, and you should. We shortlist and screen, but you run the technical interview with your own questions or a live exercise. Nobody joins your team without your approval, and the person you interview is the person who does the work.
How does the two-week trial work?
The developer joins your tools and works on real tickets for two weeks. You review their pull requests, estimates and communication. At the end you continue, ask for a replacement, or stop. Trial terms, including what happens if it does not work out, are written into the agreement before it starts.
Who owns the code a hired developer writes?
You do. Code is committed to your repository from the first day, and the contract assigns intellectual property to you. Designs stay in your Figma and apps stay in your own App Store Connect and Play Console accounts. We sign an NDA before you share anything sensitive.
What hours will my developer work?
Lahore is UTC+5 with no daylight saving. UK, Europe, UAE and Australia clients get a strong natural overlap. For US clients we agree an evening shift that gives a two to four hour overlap with your morning, with written async handoffs either side.
What happens if a developer leaves?
We source a replacement, you interview them, and the outgoing developer runs a documented handover where notice allows. Because code, tickets and documentation live in your systems, a change of person does not mean a loss of knowledge. Our project manager coordinates the transition.
Is staff augmentation the same as a dedicated developer?
Close, but not the same. With staff augmentation the developer works entirely under your management, like a contractor on your team. With a dedicated developer you direct the work, and our project manager also handles performance, attendance and replacements. Our engagement models page compares both with fixed-price projects.
Ready to meet your next developer?
Tell us the role, stack and hours. We will send matched profiles, you run the interviews, and the two-week trial starts when you are ready.
